iterasi Saves, Searches and Shares Dynamic Web Content

Browser-based Tool Captures Complex Web Pages on the Fly and Schedules Automated Retrieval Over Time

PALM DESERT, Calif. and VANCOUVER, Wash., January 28, 2008 – At the DEMO 08 conference today, iterasi will debut its first product for accurately capturing Web pages in their native forms and preserving them in their exact states.  With iterasi, dynamic or static Web pages can now be saved, searched, retrieved and shared anytime, from anywhere—forever.

Using the "Notarize" iterasi toolbar button on an Internet Explorer or Firefox browser, a dynamic page’s content can be saved in its native form. This creates a high fidelity reproduction of all types of content including images, live forms, transactions and receipts—all securely preserved in a personal account.

For power users, iterasi's one-click notarizing is complemented by the capability to schedule automated captures of specific pages on a regular basis.  This functionality provides a means of tracking and analyzing Web pages over time, enabling deeper Web research and contextual comparisons.

"As the Web increasingly becomes a more personal experience, there is a growing need for tools like iterasi," said Chris Shipley, executive producer, DEMO.  "By uniting saving, searching and retrieving for dynamic and static Web content, iterasi will be one of the more useful buttons on the ever more crowded toolbar".

Users can quickly organize each notarized page by adding notes and tags.  As a user's collection of Web pages grow, iterasi's powerful search tool allows them to easily find and retrieve saved pages.

"Searches increasingly find pages built on-the-fly using dynamic Web technologies like DHTML, AJAX and database driven content that is impossible to save with just bookmarks and history", said Pete Grillo, CEO of iterasi.  "These tools point to a page that, in the dynamic Web, may never look the same twice.  iterasi instead saves the native pages—all with a click of a button".

Availability

iterasi will be available in beta form in the first quarter of 2008.  To register for the beta version of iterasi, visit www.iterasi.com.

About iterasi

iterasi solves the problem of preserving the authenticity of Web content within today's dynamic Web environment.  Started in 2007 by the team that built WeSync.com and later sold to Palm Inc., iterasi solves the other side of search—saving, storing and retrieving your Web experience.  Earlier Web technologies like bookmarking and history save the location of a page—which in today's dynamic Web is no longer enough. iterasi saves the exact page in its native format and enables users to store, retrieve and share individual pages indefinitely.  For more information, visit www.iterasi.com.
